Meal Plan Descriptions

Highlander All Access  (Buy-Up Option)

Unlimited access to meals in Dalton Kitchen. Two on campus retail location swipes a day, one per meal period (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) with a value of $9.25 per swipe.  Plan provides opportunity for at least 19 meals a week for the full 15-week semester.

$250 in food dollars can be used in all Dining locations at any time.

Once a retail swipe is used during a meal period, Dalton Kitchen access will not be available until the start of the next meal period. For the best value possible, it is recommended to use retail swipes toward the end of a meal period.

Unlimited access to Dalton Kitchen is available to All Access Plan Holders every 15 minutes during Dalton Kitchen operating hours until a retail swipe is used.

Unlimited access and retail swipes reset each day and do not roll over (use or lose). One retail swipe expires at the end of the lunch meal period. The second retail swipe expires at the end of the dinner period.

Students can purchase additional food dollars if desired for additional retail purchases (in increments of $50).

Any remaining food dollars will carry over from the fall to the spring semester but will not carry over to the next academic year

Highlander Residential   (Default On-Campus Residence Hall Plan)

14 meal swipes per week, two meals per day, one per meal period (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) that can be used in Dalton Kitchen or as $9.25 at Retail locations. Students are guaranteed 2 meals per day, 7 days per week for the full 15-week semester.

$300 in food dollars can be used in all Dining locations at any time.

Includes $30 in campus vending dollars. 

This plan allows for use of two meal swipes per day during different meal periods (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). One meal swipe per period. Unused swipes expire each day and do not carry over (use or lose). One daily meal swipe expires at the end of the lunch meal period. The second daily swipe expires at the end of the dinner period.

Students can purchase additional food dollars if desired for additional retail purchases (in increments of $50).

Any remaining food dollars will carry over from the fall to the spring semester but will not carry over to the next academic year.

Residence Hall Students can Buy-Up to the Highlander All Access Plan.

Highlander Junior  (Default University Apartment Meal Plan)

105 meal swipes a semester to be used in Dalton Kitchen or at on campus retail locations (retail value per swipe of $9.25) 

$400 in food dollars can be used in all Dining locations at any time.

Meal period use requirements and daily swipe expiration do not apply to the plan. All unused swipes at the end of the semester expire and do not roll over.

Students can still choose to purchase additional food dollars if desired for additional retail purchases (in increments of $50).

Any remaining food dollars will carry over from the fall to the spring semester but will not carry over to the next academic year.

University Apartment residents can Buy-Up to the Highlander Residential or Highlander All Access Plans.

Highlander Commuter  (Non-Resident Plan - Voluntary)

25 meal swipes and $250 food dollars 

Meal swipes can be used in Dalton Kitchen or as a $9.25 value in on campus retail locations. No meal period designation. Swipes can be used at any time.

Food Dollars can be used in all Dining locations at any time.

Students can add additional swipes (in buckets of 10 or 25) and/or food dollars (in increments of $50) throughout the semester after the initial buy-in.

All unused swipes at the end of the semester expire and do not roll over.

Any remaining food dollars will carry over from the fall to the spring semester but will not carry over to the next academic year.

Commuters can Buy-Up to Highlander Junior, Highlander Residential or Highlander All Access Plans.
