Undergraduate Applicants

You've decided Radford University is the place for you! Maybe you've visited campus or taken a virtual tour. You've explored our academic programs and learned what makes Radford University a school of choice.

Now it's time to take the next step!

Radford University takes a holistic approach to reviewing applications and will never impose cut-off dates or offer guarantees of acceptance arbitrarily. Radford University views everything that an applicant submits in an effort to get to know that individual as well as possible. Each application is reviewed by members of the Admissions committee in an effort to select potential Radford University students who we believe would not only find academic success at Radford, but also become positive contributors to our community.

We are excited to announce, beginning with Fall 2021 applicants, Radford University will not require standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) for admission. Students may choose to submit test scores as part of their application; however, students that choose to apply test optional will not be at a disadvantage in the review process.

Graduate Applicants

We are excited to have you join the Radford University community as a graduate student! You've discovered the graduate degrees and certificates we offer, learned about our vibrant research community and made your choice.

Now it's time to take the next step!

Applicants for graduate admissions must apply online and include all relevant materials required by the program. The online application is used by degree-seeking, non-degree, and international applicants and all applications require payment of a non-refundable fee ($50). All degree-seeking applicants must submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.

Applicant files are forwarded to the appropriate department for evaluation and a recommendation regarding admission when the application is complete. The final decision on admission rests with the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies and Research.
