Technology Requirements
MFA in Design Thinking
Personal Computer: As part of an online program, technology will be a critical component of your degree requirements. Your personal computer will be your most important technology tool. Therefore, we have established minimum standards for your computer. We recommend the Lenovo T520 laptop, but any personal computer that has the following specifications will meet the program requirements:
- 8GB Memory
- 500GB hard drive
- Graphics: NVIDIA N12P-NS1 1GB Optimus
- Wireless 802.11b/g/n
- 9-cell battery
- Microsoft Office
Scanner: In addition to a personal computer, you will also be required to have a scanner.
USB Headset: We recommend the Logitech Stereo Headset H390 (see specifications below).
- Frequency response: Headset: 20 Hz–20 kHz; Microphone: 100 Hz–10 kHz
- Input sensitivity: -62 dBV/µbar, -42 dBV/Pa +/- 3 dB
- Connections: USB compatible (1.1 and 2.0)
