Sustainability and Environmental Studies Certificate

Certificate requirements include taking the course, GEOG140 Introduction to Environmental Studies, followed by courses in physical systems and the environment, policy and economics, and human dimensions, and culminating in a Capstone course with field applications. GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE CERTIFICATE
(19-23 CREDITS)
The curriculum consists of five content areas, including a core course covering the fundamentals of geographic information systems and concepts of space, representation, spatial reasoning and map use; spatial data analysis; data management and vizualization; special topics in geospatial intelligence; and a Capstone experience in which students demonstrate the ability to apply GeoINT knowledge, skills, and techniques to a national security problem and communicate findings in a professional manner.
