Each semester, the College of Visual and Performing Arts offers dozens of events, large and small. Everything listed here is open to the public and most are free admission. To stay on top of everything, you can get our newsletter or follow us on Facebook or Instagram. In the meantime, here's what's coming up in the near future . . . we'd love to see you there.

Abstract painting by David Hannon entitled Anomoly
Artist David Hannon's show Luminous Beasts will open October 13 in the Tyler Gallery (next to BT's) and run through November 19. There will be a closing talk and reception in the gallery on November 19 as well. This work is called Anomoly.

Halloween Spooktacular 6: Big Hairy Deal! Radford University, Davis Performance Hall, Covington Center October 30, 2025. Free Admission. Doors open at 6:45 pm; concert at 7:30. Music, art, dance, trivia, video and more.
It’s THE Halloween concert event of the season. This year we take you to a dark forest of werewolves and other creepy characters in Spooktacular VI: Big Hairy Deal. There’s music, dance, trivia, film, and our own little haunted art show. Absolutely free and open to everyone, but get there early to secure a seat. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
