The Lovely Dark visits campus in time for spooky season. The band’s music represents a nexus of synth
pop, industrial rock, goth, Berlin Bowie, and electronica. Their live show features
heavy guitars and synthesizers, pulsating beats, dynamic vocals, stunning musicianship,
video art, and lots of gothic style. Their debut EP Dark Stars and Mythologies and LP Strange Love: A Tribute to Depeche Mode are available on all major platforms, with new music slated for release in late summer
2026.
The Lovely Dark features two Radford University Music Department alumni who have scheduled this event
between concerts in New York and Detroit specifically to bring the music to our campus.
