The arts have the power to inspire, challenge, connect and transform. At Radford University, philanthropic support creates opportunities for students to discover their craft, develop their talents and share their creativity with audiences on campus and beyond.
Gifts to the College of Visual and Performing Arts support scholarships, performances and exhibitions, touring ensembles, study abroad experiences, international conferences, guest artist residencies and other opportunities that enrich the student experience.
Every gift helps sustain a vibrant creative community and makes more possible for the next generation of artists, performers, designers and creators.
For more than 30 years, the Arts Society has brought together people who share a belief in the transformative power of the arts and a commitment to Radford University's College of Visual and Performing Arts.
Today, the Arts Society recognizes donors whose annual support to any department, program or initiative within the College — or to the Public Art Fund — advances the arts at Radford.
More than a recognition society, the Arts Society is a community whose generosity creates meaningful artistic experiences, expands opportunities for students and sustains a thriving culture of creativity.

Your Support. Their Possibilities.
Arts Society donors help make experiences possible that extend far beyond the classroom
— from scholarships and guest artists to touring ensembles, study abroad, performances
and exhibitions.
When you support the arts at Radford, you invest in what students can create, experience and become.
How Arts Society Recognition Works
Arts Society recognition is determined annually based on qualifying gifts made during
the previous fiscal year to any department, program or initiative within the College
of Visual and Performing Arts or to the Public Art Fund.
Giving during one fiscal year determines Arts Society recognition for the following year, with recognition reviewed each July. Donors who give less than $250 annually remain valued friends and supporters of the arts at Radford but do not receive Arts Society recognition.
For those who prefer to spread their support throughout the year, a recurring gift of $21 per month reaches the annual giving threshold for Arts Society Enthusiast recognition while providing consistent support for the arts.
Stay Connected to the Arts
Attend a performance. Experience an exhibition. Celebrate the accomplishments of our
students and faculty. Share the work of the College with others. Whether you are an
Arts Society donor, alumnus, audience member or friend of the College, we invite you
to stay connected and experience all that the arts make possible.
