Student Organization Assistance and Resources (SOAR)
The main goal of the Student Organization Assistance and Resources (SOAR) office is to provide information on how to get involved in campus clubs and organizations at Radford University and to provide students with the tools needed to be a successful leader on campus.
Radford University students can join any of our more than 300 registered clubs and organizations. If you want to learn more about how to get involved at Radford University, stop by the SOAR office in room 237 of the Hurlburt Student Center (The Bonnie) or email email@example.com.
Hours: Mon-Thurs 12-8pm, Fri 12-5pm
Club Programming Committee (CPC)
Funding from the Club Programming Committee (CPC) is available for registered student organizations to host on-campus programs or to attend conferences or other out-of-town activities.
Visit the Student Organization Assistance and Resources (SOAR) office in the Hurlburt Student Center (The Bonnie), room 237 to complete an application for CPC funding. Applications received by 4pm on Wednesday will be reviewed at the following week's CPC meeting. The student who submitted the application will receive an email with further instructions. If the application passes initial screenings, the organization applying for funding must sent a student representative to the meeting to make a presentation to the funding committee. Pay careful attention to the application deadlines listed below.
On campus event - 4 academic weeks (6 weeks if using an international artist/speaker)
Travel - 5 academic weeks (7 weeks of traveling internationally)
Join Radford University at its biannual celebration of student involvement. Take advantage of this biannual opportunity to learn and see all that Radford University has to offer through its clubs and organizations. The events take place on the first Friday of both the fall and spring semesters, and it's totally FREE! There are more than 200 clubs and organizations represented, as well as more than 35 local vendors. There is entertainment, live music and free food!

Is your organization considering hosting an on-campus event? Stop by the SOAR office in room 237 of the Hurlburt Student Center (The Bonnie) to complete an event consultation with one of our leadership consultants. They will help you figure out any paperwork you need to complete (permits, applications, etc.), help you brainstorm logistics, and help you find funding for your event.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 12noon-8pm and Friday 12noon-5pm
