Highlander Student Media is located in the "Bonnie" Hurlburt Student Center Room 229. The media organizations are open to all students and we encourage students from all majors to participate. We are always looking for writers, editors, photographers, graphic designers, etc. to join our staff.

    Yearbook
    The Beehive strives to showcase the excellence of Radford University students and to serve as a chronicle of the events which shape and build our campus community. The Beehive is the oldest student media publication in the university’s history. Since its inception, the Beehive has taken many different forms but stayed true to its roots.

  • Exit 109
    Literary & Creative Arts Magazine
    Exit 109, formerly known as the Gaelic, exists to publish featured creative work by Radford University students/staff in order to foster an appreciation of literature and art amongst the campus community. All current Radford University students, faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome to submit their original prose, poetry, essays, artwork, photography, etc. to be published in print by Exit 109. We also host poetry readings, art-ins, open editing sessions, and more.                                                                                                                                                                                             Contact Exit 109
  • Radio Free Radford
    Internet radio station
    Radio Free Radford is a student-run, student-staffed, and student programmed radio station on campus. We offer a wide variety of music and programming for your listening enjoyment. Anyone can be a DJ for RFR! No experience necessary! We’ll teach you everything you need to know.

    Video production
    ROC-TV ("Radford on Camera"), broadcast on Radford University's Reslife channel and on YouTube, features student comedy, news and commentary, and other programming. ROC is entirely written, produced, performed, taped, edited and aired by Radford students.

    Radford's bi-weekly student-run newspaper, The Tartan, features news and information about Radford University and the surrounding area and is distributed both on campus and around town. New contributors are always welcome.
