COBE interim dean announced

Dr. Dennis Grady, currently Radford University (RU) Dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies, was named May 14 to serve as interim dean of the College of Business and Economics (COBE) during the 2013-2014 academic year.  Outgoing COBE Dean Dr. Faye Gilbert is departing RU to serve as the Dean of The University of Southern Mississippi's College of Business.

In making the announcement, RU Provost Dr. Sam Minner said, "I am certain that Dennis Grady will provide excellent leadership and management of COBE during this critical transitional year."

As a result of Grady’s interim duties as dean of COBE, Dr. Nora Reilly has agreed to serve as Interim Dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies.

Minner also announced that Dr. Matt Dunleavy will serve as the Interim Assistant Vice Provost, working on an expansion of RU's Gaming, Animation, Modeling, and Simulation (GAMeS) lab as well as managing several other academic affairs related duties.
