Pre-Quest Activities
Jump into the Highlander spirit!  Pre-Quest lets you get to know campus before the hustle of Quest, while enjoying team-building games, outdoor adventures, and time to connect with new friends.  Feel at home from day one!  More details of specific activities to come soon.

When can I check-in for Pre-Quest?

Pre-Quest Check-In will be from 5 to 10 p.m. the evening before your session.

If arriving after 10 p.m., a sign will be posted at check-in with the On-Call RA number to call.  The On-Call RA will help you get checked in after hours.

Where do I check-in when I arrive to campus?

The Pre-Quest Check-In location is Pocahontas Hall.  Review directions and a campus map.

Do students, families, and supporters stay in the same residence hall?

We cannot guarantee students, families, and supporters will stay in the same rooms and residence halls.  If in separate rooms, families and supporters will not have a roommate or share a bathroom with another family or supporter.  Students could be assigned a roommate of the same gender preference and will share a suite style bathroom with students of the same gender indentification.

What will my residence hall room include?

During Pre-Quest, each residence hall room will include:

  • Air conditioning
  • Private bathroom for families and supporters, suite style bathroom for students
  • Two twin sized extra long mattresses
  • Pillow and pillow case
  • Sheets
  • Blanket
  • Washcloth, towel, and bathmat
  • Toilet paper
  • Hand soap

Rooms can get a little cold from the air conditioning so an extra blanket and pillow will make things even more comfortable.  Rooms do not include a TV but you'll be having so much fun you won't miss it!

Where can I park when I arrive to campus?

Please park on campus for Pre-Quest Check-In in any of the red or yellow lots.

  • You do not need a parking pass to park on campus for Pre-Quest or Quest.
  • Please do not park at metered spaces on campus
  • Please do not park in designated accessible parking without the proper tag or plate
  • Please do not park in our spaces marked "Guest Parking".  You are not a guest!  You are a Highlander!
  • Main campus parking map [PDF]

Where are the dining options on campus?

Dalton Hall, campus dining, will be open for dinner from 5 to 6 p.m.  We also have various dining options for your convenience within walking distance to campus.
