Below you will find our Quest 2026 dates and what to expect for our Radford campus First-Year students! Spring Quest (online) is for students starting in the Spring 2026 semester while Summer Quest sessions are for students starting in the Summer or Fall 2026 semesters.

We understand that plans can change.  If you’re unable to attend your scheduled Quest session, please sign up for an alternative within 48 hours.  If no alternate session is selected within that time, your reserved course schedule will be dropped.  This not only frees up courses for other students eager to join us, but it also ensures you aren’t billed for classes you don’t intend to take at Radford University.  Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep our courses accessible to everyone!

Quest students

Your Quest session day will be from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Pre-Quest overnight on-campus housing is available for students, families, and supporters for summer Quest 2026 on the Radford campus. Get more information about Pre-Quest!

Registration for Spring Quest (online) is now open.  Our summer Quest sessions will open for registration on March 1, 2026.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us anytime at orientation@radford.edu.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

What is First-Year Quest?

Quest is more than orientation, it’s your official welcome to the Highlander family!
This immersive program is designed to help new students, families, and supporters feel confident, connected, and ready for life at Radford University.

Quest is your first step into Highlander life — a day full of discovery, connection, and excitement as you explore all that makes Radford University such a special place to call home.

Throughout the day, you’ll explore campus, connect with fellow Highlanders, and meet faculty and staff who are here to support your success. Some parts of the day you’ll enjoy together as a family, while others are tailored separately for students and families/supporters so everyone gets the information that matters most to them.
