Professor Wins 3rd ‘Super CPA’ Nod

Bruce Chase, a professor of accounting and director of the Governmental and Nonprofit Assistance Center, has been recognized as one of Virginia’s Super CPAs in the Educator category. Chase will be featured in the November edition of Virginia Business by the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.

“It is a real honor to be recognized by my professional peers,” Chase said. “It reflects well that the university’s outreach programs and accounting program merit recognition across the state.”

Chase’s recognition as a Virginia Business Super CPA is his third in the past five years. He was selected in a poll of more than 7,000 VSPCA members, from which Super CPAs were named in 12 categories.
