Dr. Kevin Farrell

Kevin Farrell is Associate Professor of English at Radford University Carilion.  He received his PhD in English and MA in Irish Studies from the Catholic University of America and his BA in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame.  Before coming to Radford, Professor Farrell taught at Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Iowa Wesleyan College, Albright College, The Catholic University of America, and the Cardinal Gibbons School.  His research interests include James Joyce, Irish literature, modernism, postmodernism, postcolonialism, and popular music, and his work has appeared in The James Joyce QuarterlyThe Journal of Popular Music Studies, and New Hibernia Review.
