    In support of Radford University’s new brand platform, the university’s website will be undergoing a complete redesign. When completed this fall, Radford University will have a full responsive website that reflects the university’s new branding and will include improved functionality and navigation. The website will also migrate to the latest version of the content management system – Adobe Experience Manager 6.

    Radford University’s virtual tour received accolades this month from the Higher Education Marketing Report (HEMR). The tour, which was a collaboration between Web Strategy and Interactive Media and Undergraduate Admissions, earned a Bronze Medal in the “Admissions Website” category of the HEMR’s annual Education Digital Marketing Awards.

    Working closely with IT Infrastructure, Web Services and University Relations, Web Strategy and Interactive Media has implemented a Digital Asset Manager (DAM) to make it easy for the campus community to search for images based on keywords.

    If you have uploaded a file to the DAM that has spaces and parenthesis or just parenthesis in the file name, you may have problems with the link. The link might appear broken on your live site and you will NOT be able to create a link to it when working on your site. Fortunately, the solution is simple.
