Concentration in Information Systems and Security Management
In addition to the Core Curriculum, Information Systems Core, Additional Requirements, B.S. requirements, and electives, students in the Information Systems and Security Management Concentration are required to complete the following:
Required Courses (9 credits)
- ITEC 466 - Information Assurance Management
- CRJU 412 - Security Administration and Crime Prevention
- ITEC 455 - Applied Cryptography and Network Security
Additional Degree Requirements
All majors require a minimum 2.0 GPA in the major in order to be eligible for graduation. The major GPA for all concentrations is calculated using all courses required for the Information Systems Core Requirements, Additional Requirements and courses taken for the concentration(s) selected. Courses may require a “C” or better in the prerequisite.
