U.S. News & World Report has listed the Davis College of Business and Economics’ Part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in its 2022 Best Part-time MBA rankings.

U.S. News & World Report released the rankings on March 30, 2021, touting the “vital role” part-time business programs such as the Radford University part-time MBA play “for working people who can’t go to school full time for family, job-related or financial reasons.”

It is a matter of great pride for the Davis College to have received yet another validation of the excellence of the Radford MBA program,” said Davis College of Business and Economics Dean Joy Bhadury, Ph.D. “To be recognized by a leading ranking such as U.S. News & World Report is an honor and privilege for all of us. Credit and congratulations are due to Dr. Tom Duncan and his team, including all of our graduate faculty. This is another approbation of the high-quality instruction and engagement to provide.”

The rankings add to a long line of accolades for the Radford University MBA. In December 2020, The Princeton Review recognized the program in its Best Business Schools for 2021: On-Campus MBA Programs.

“The U.S. News and World Report ranking is one of the top indicators of achievement for a program,” said Radford University MBA program director Tom Duncan, Ph.D. “That the Radford MBA has been recognized in the rankings is once again a testament to the quality students and faculty with whom I have the pleasure of working. It is a well-deserved accolade for their efforts to make our program a success.”

The Radford University MBA provides a broad-based, cross-functional education in core business areas, with targeted electives in analytics and innovation designed to prepare students for advanced leadership roles in the private and public sectors of the global economy.

Graduate business courses provide experiential learning opportunities that engage students in the educational process, thereby providing a bridge between theory and practice.

Radford University MBA courses are available through an innovative trimodal instruction platform, in which students may participate in courses in the classroom on the Radford campus, online in synchronous interactive sessions or through recorded sessions.

Full-time students can earn an MBA at Radford University in two years without taking summer courses. Part-time MBA students can complete the program online in as little as two years with summer courses or take as long as six years.

Davis College offers a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics jointly with SAS Analytics, a leader in data analytics software and the largest independent vendor in the business intelligence market. This certificate provides students with tools to differentiate themselves in the job market and bridge the gap between discipline-specific knowledge and the ability to analyze relevant data for informed decision-making.

Students enrolled in Davis College’s MBA program can earn the joint certificate as part of their studies. The certificate also complements many degree programs offered at Radford University. MBA students also have the option of earning a concentration in business analytics by taking an additional course beyond the requirements for the certificate.

Radford University’s Davis College is among the few business schools in the world to achieve elite accreditation status from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). This accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools. Fewer than 5% of the world’s business schools are AACSB accredited.
