Over the past few years, our remarkable faculty created a personalized educational pathway called the REAL curriculum where every course counts towards your major. They also implemented the Highlander Promise of engaged learning experiences for all students. Our resilient students published and presented research at professional conferences even in the virtual pandemic environment, and they furthered efforts to make Radford a sustainable university. Our loyal alumni and friends increased their support of current and future Highlanders through TOGETHER - The Campaign for Radford University, which will impact teaching, learning, innovation and discovery for years to come. Our committed faculty, staff, students, families and alumni have collectively set up Radford University to be the successful institution it is today.

Academic, campus enhancements and student success among June Board of Visitors meeting topics

Radford University’s Board of Visitors approved new programs and measures designed to move the institution forward and received updates on student success initiatives and campus enhancements during the final quarterly meetings of the academic year on Thursday and Friday, June 5-6.

Radford University earns Carnegie Classification as an Opportunity College and University

Radford University has been named an Opportunity College and University – Higher Access, Higher Earnings by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.

Radford University has officially been named the 2025 Top Adventure College by Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine, emerging the winner in the publication’s annual bracket-style competition featuring 32 colleges and universities across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.
