Brief Bio

As a Board-Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist, I am passionate about trying to elevate the level of practice in neurologic rehabilitation in our region. I am interested in knowledge translation and implementation of clinical practice guidelines and best practice initiatives to optimize outcomes for individuals with neurologic conditions. I am certified as an Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapist through the University of Pittsburgh and am an alumnus of the Parkinson’s Foundation PT Faculty Program at Oregon Health Sciences University. I am actively engaged in the knowledge translation efforts of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy (ANPT) in my role as Chair of the ANPT Practice Committee. My primary area of research interest is to investigate the effects of exercise-based interventions on motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease.
