Spend a semester studying at the University Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) while continuing to pay Radford University tuition. URJC has joined the list of Radford University’s exchange partners. Our first Spanish exchange partner, URJC is located in the vibrant capital city of Madrid.

URJC is the youngest and most modern of all public universities in Madrid. URJC offers 6 degrees taught in English, with classes offered on the Madrid campus. It was created in 1996 with the objective of offering all-around preparation for its students, combining theoretical teaching with training in laboratories and companies, thus facilitating rapid access to the labor market. The university has more than 40,000 students enrolled, including over 4,000 international students from over a hundred countries from all over the world, and a staff of more than 1,900 members, including both teachers and administrative personnel.
