International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS)
International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is a unit of the McGlothlin Center for Global Education and Engagement and is responsible for providing support to international students and scholars on F1 and J1 visas at Radford University.
Some of the services that we provide include:
- Advising international students and scholars on immigration requirements and compliance;
- Assisting international students and scholarswith a smooth curltural and social transition to the U.S., the Commonwealth of Virginia and Radford University.
- Assisting students with the process of obtaining driver's licenses and social security numbers as well as applying for Optional Practical Training (OPT), Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Academic Training (AT), and others.
