The McGlothlin Center for Global Education and Engagement provides services and support to international students, domestic students interested in study abroad, and faculty and staff pursuing international academic initiatives.

Help with Your U.S. Immigration

Home to the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), we offer support to international students and scholars on F1 and J1 visas including:

  • Advising related to immigration requirements and compliance;
  • Assisting with a smooth cultural and social transition to the U.S., the Commonwealth of Virginia and Radford University;
  • Obtaining driver's licenses and social security numbers; and
  • Applying for Optional Practical Training (OPT), Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Academic Training (AT), and others.

    Education Abroad

    Passport Services

    Radford University is a certified U.S. Passport Acceptance Facility by the U.S. Department of State. As an acceptance facility, we offer passport services to first-time passport applicants from the Radford University community as well as the general public.

    The McGlothlin Center for Global Education and Engagement strives to provide and support its faculty in engaging on international initiatives of different backgrounds.
