Dr. Yankle and Professor Don Martin (Criminal Justice) will provide perspectives on how to choose a law school, how (and when) you should start preparing for law school, and how to be successful in law school. Even better—they will share what you can start doing to prepare for success at Radford. The panel will conclude with a Q&A session.

Crafting a targeted resume is time well-spent. You will gain a much clearer view of the job you're pursuing and why you're qualified for that job. However, you need both a social media profile and a resume to land your next job. Your resume and social media profile must tell the same story. Employers are more frequently using social media networks to find candidates rather than going through resumes or searching job websites, so come to this session to make sure yours make the grade.

Russia's Genocidal War in Ukraine with Dr. 3:50PM luliia Hoban (Virtual), Assistant Director for lntercultural Learning and Program Director for Mozaiko, Virginia Tech and former Visiting Assistant Professor, Radford University
Dr. luliia Hoban, originally from Ukraine, will discuss the current Russian war against her homeland. In her remarks, Dr. Hoban will focus on the colonial and genocidal nature of this armed conflict and the global implications of the war. The talk will be an interactive discussion with Q&A from the audience. So, bring your questions about the conflict.

Who Do You Choose? Federal Judge Selection & Perceptions of Fairness with Dr. Allyson Yankle
In this session, Dr. Allyson Yankle will present preliminary data results from an experiment around perception of potential federal judicial nominees and fairness. Attendees will be able to answer similar questions from the experiment and compare their results. The panel will conclude with an open discussion about the implications of the findings for future judicial nominees and trust in the American judiciary.

2022 Midterms Analysis with Dr. Daniel Reed & Dr. Chapman Rackaway
Dr. Daniel Reed and Dr. Chapman Rackaway will look forward to next month's 2022 midterm elections. Control of both chambers of Congress is in play, with a number of key races in Virginia and across the country. Drs. Reed and Rackaway will highlight those key races, looking at national conditions, polling, and campaign finance data, with analysis of what to expect on election day and what the midterms portend for 2024.
