Do not sign your Access Plan until you have met with your instructor to discuss your accommodations. It is your (The student's) responsibility to arrange a meeting with each instructor for every course in which you are requesting accommodations. Meetings may take place in person, by phone, by Zoom, or by email. Ask your instructor how they prefer to review your Access Plan. After your meeting, both you and your instructor must electronically sign the Access Plan. If an instructor has questions or does not agree with the Access Plan, please contact CAS immediately.
Appointments must be requested at least 2 business days in advance. Students may schedule appointments up to 2 weeks in advance.
After submitting your request, the appointment will appear under Requested Appointments in Access CAS. You will also receive a confirmation email.
Once your Access Specialist approves the request, the appointment will appear under Approved Appointments, and you will receive an email confirming the appointment.

A Supplemental Request is used to request an additional accommodation that is not currently included on your Access Plan.
Students are responsible for requesting a testing space through Access CAS. Due to limited testing space, proctoring requests must be submitted at least 5 days before the scheduled test or exam.
After submitting your request, it will appear under Pending Booking Requests until your instructor approves it. You may wish to notify your instructor that you have submitted a testing request so they can approve it and arrange for the exam to be delivered to CAS.
Important:
Once a proctoring request has been submitted, students cannot make changes in Access CAS. If you need to change the date, time, approved testing materials, or other details, email your instructor and copy castests@radford.edu. If your instructor approves the changes, they must notify both you and CAS so your request can be updated.
How to cancel a proctoring request:
