Mission
The School of Teacher Education and Leadership prepares highly competent, reflective, and inclusive educators who are inspired to improve schools and communities. We pursue experiences that deepen our ability to understand and engage in equitable and inclusive practice and nurture students in cultivating a critical thinker/learner mindset that will serve as a foundation for their professional careers.
Vision
The School of Teacher Education and Leadership aspires to be a leader in the Commonwealth of Virginia for innovative, immersive, practice-embedded learning experiences that foster individual and system transformation.
