You can find a Tartan Tails dog at McConnell Library for Yappy Hour every Tuesday between 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. during the Fall and Spring semester. Tartan Tails dogs are at other locations on campus for Yappy Hour on different days of the week and make appearances at other events and locations!

Spending time with a Tartan Tails dog may help reduce stress, relieve some anxiety or just bring a smile to your face!

You can find a Tartan Tails dog at The Bonnie for Yappy Hour every Wednesday between 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. during the Fall and Spring semester. When the weather is nice, Yappy Hour will be outside on the plaza and if it's cold or rainy will be inside on the 2nd floor. Tartan Tails dogs are at other locations on campus for Yappy Hour on different days of the week and make appearances at other events!

Wednesday, September 24, 2025 Dinner and a Movie with Highlander HOPE

Radford University is excited to host an elegant evening featuring the exclusive screening of the new, Virginia-made documentary, "Together:  Family Recovery."  Students will enjoy a complimentary dinner while viewing the film and facilitate raw, "real-talk" discussions around their tables regarding their experiences and realities of use on campus. ***Registration recommended. Thursday, September 25, 2025 Club Advisor Training

The purpose of the training is to equip student organization leaders and advisors with the essential tools and knowledge needed to effectively run their clubs. The training covers key topics such as marketing, CPC funding, university club policies, leadership development, and advisor best practices. Participants learn the basics of using resources like Club Hub and RU Involved for administrative tasks, event planning, and communication. The training will be a recorded zoom and made available after the presentation date for folks who are unable to attend the live zoom. A resource guide will also be provided to attendees.

You can find a Tartan Tails dog making an appearance at The Fountain on Thursdays between 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. during the Fall and Spring semester. Mid-semester when the weather starts to cool off appearances at the Fountain will be on hold until the weather starts to warm in the spring. If it's rainy the appearance will be cancelled. Tartan Tails dogs are at other locations on campus for Yappy Hour on different days of the week and make appearances at other events and locations!
