Marketing and Communication is committed to empowering our clients with the tools they need to meet their communication goals. Guided by feedback from a 2025 templates survey, we continue to develop a collection of self-serve resources designed to make creating common deliverables easier and more efficient.
The resources below include digital screen slide templates and guidelines for social media success, with additional resources to come. While these tools allow you to create with confidence, our team remains available to provide expert guidance and support whenever needed.
Radford University currently operates more than 130 digital screens across our campuses and learning locations in Radford and Roanoke. These screens are organized into nine feeds managed by “feed masters.” Radford employees and students can submit slides to be displayed on these feeds.
These digital screens are designed to increase student and employee awareness of and engagement in university programs, events, activities and news. They can be used in concert with other communication platforms—such as flyers and internal newsletters — to achieve these goals.
Please view the Best Practices [PDF] presentation for help in using the digital screen slides.
Radford University has created a new PowerPoint template for employees to use for their university presentations to internal and external audiences. This template replaces the existing one that was previously shared and posted on the Marketing and Communication website.
The new template is designed to give users a variety of options for customizing different presentation elements while maintaining a consistent and professional look and feel and adhering to the university’s graphic identity.
Please be sure to read the "how to use" instructions embedded in the template, along with the presentation suggestions and tips on SmartArt graphics and accessibility.
If you have encounter any issues using the template, please email branding@radford.edu with the subject line “PowerPoint Template Help.”
