Located on the 4th floor of Hemphill Hall, this lab offers access to a number of computers, a multimedia setup and foreign-language tutoring. This room can typically accommodate 15-20 people. A great resource for students looking for dedicated space to practice their language skills and/or for faculty looking for a small, computer-lab style room for their courses. Note: This room requires card access for use outside of regular operation hours.

Located within the Department of English, this library is home to many examples of children's literature and young adult literature, which can be checked-out through the McConnell Library system. This room contains two couches and some folding chairs and can typically accommodate 6-10 people. A great resource for education students, as well as those looking for a sociable place to hangout between classes.

Located within the Department of English, the student lounge is a space intended for English graduate students. This room is equipped with two desks, a couch and a whiteboard and can typically accommodate 3-4 people. Containing various literary, theoretical and pedagogical texts to help our graduate students, this is a quiet and productive space to hangout between classes or to work on your thesis project, comprehensive exams and/or teaching prep.

Located on the 4th floor of Hemphill Hall, this large multipurpose room is equipped with rolling tables and chairs that can be configured in many different formats. This room can typically accommodate 40-50 people and is best suited for large classes, scholarly presentations, college/departmental meetings and sizable club events. The technology for this room is currently scheduled to be updated during Fall 2025. Note: This room is only available via reservation, as it requires card access.
