Application Update – Fall 2026

 The Clinical Mental Health Counseling concentration is now closed for the Fall 2026 cycle. We appreciate the strong interest in the program and encourage prospective applicants to apply as early as possible in the next application cycle for full consideration..

A very limited number of seats remain in the School Counseling concentration. Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible for consideration.

The Department of Counselor Education offers a graduate education leading to a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Development. The program offers a unique blend of courses designed to provide the skills and knowledge necessary for becoming a knowledgeable, thoughtful, skillful and caring counselor. The program is intensely clinical and involves significant student engagement in situated learning or clinical practice.
