The Department of Counselor Education offers a graduate education leading to a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Development. The program offers a unique blend of courses designed to provide the skills and knowledge necessary for becoming a knowledgeable, thoughtful, skillful and caring counselor. The program is intensely clinical and involves significant student engagement in situated learning or clinical practice.

Concentrations in: School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling

97 percent of our students pass their licensures or certification exams.
Various assistantships available including Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Teaching Fellow.
