Christine V. Rogerson, Ph.D., MSW, LCSW

Assistant Professor

Dr. Christine Rogerson is an Assistant Professor with the school of social work at Radford University. She graduated with her Ph.D. in social work from Simmons University, her MSW degree from the University of New England, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Maine. Dr. Rogerson’s teaching centers around social justice, ethics, policy, and social work practice areas. She has over 13 years of experience as an independently licensed clinical social worker, working primarily with children and families. Dr. Rogerson’s practice experience includes school social work, integrated behavioral health, family therapy, individual therapy with youth and adults, in-patient behavioral health, mobile crisis, and in-home services. Dr. Rogerson’s scholarship focuses on child welfare, ethical decision-making, and social work teaching practices. She enjoys being outdoors, baking, and spending time with family.
