MSW Student Presents Research on Mental Health Disparities in Student Athletes
MSW student Yasmine Tyler was recently invited to present her research topic on Disparities in Student Athletes Mental Health: A Social Work Analysis at an event attended by the Board, Vice Presidents, and President Danilowicz. The event was a great opportunity for Tyler to showcase her research and engage with senior members of the institution.
Yasmine presentation was well-received by the attendees, who were impressed with her research and plans for the future. She shared insights on the mental health challenges faced by student athletes, and how social workers can address the disparities in mental health care that exist in this population.
