Dr. Rogerson Receives Best Conceptual Article Award
Exciting news has arrived for our school community! One of our faculty members, Dr. Christine V. Rogerson, has been recognized for her outstanding work in social work education.
Dr. Rogerson, along with Dr. Dana Prescott from Boston College and Dr. Heather Howard from Florida Atlantic, authored an article titled "Teaching social work students the influence of explicit and implicit bias: Promoting ethical reflection in practice" that has been awarded Best Conceptual Article in 2022 in Social Work Education The International Journal.
The article explores the literature related to explicit and implicit biases and the implications for social work education and curricula. This recognition is a significant achievement for Dr. Rogerson and highlights her dedication and contributions to the field of social work education.
