Waldron College Interprofessional Education and Practice Symposium

The Fall 2020 Waldron College Interprofessional Education and Practice Symposium will take place virtually on October 16th from 9am-12pm.
The primary purpose of the WCIPEPS is to create interprofessional learning opportunities that enable health and human services students at Radford University to better understand their role and the roles of others, and to acquire the skills needed to effectively interact with other disciplines for the benefit of their future patients and clients. These skills include respectful communication, negotiation, advocacy, and leadership. Additionally, the WCIPEPS aims to foster students’ critical thinking skills while providing them with the opportunity to make connections between academic knowledge and participation in local and national health and education systems, and to encourage and facilitate problem-solving in the context of contemporary real-world issues.
