Two local media outlets highlighted Radford University's Summer Bridge Program for high school female students and the Apollo 11 Celebration on July 20, which marked the 50th anniversary of the historic mission to the moon.

Both events welcomed campers and guests from across Virginia and beyond to explore the University's state-of-the-art facilities and interact with talented and passionate faculty, staff and students.

In addition, several organizations from throughout the New River and Roanoke valleys communities partnered with Radford University to make these events a success.
