'What is it like to be a champion?'

What is it like to be a champion? Radford University Men’s Basketball player Carlik Jones recently had an opportunity to share his experiences from the 2018 Big South Tournament and the subsequent NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, also known as “The Big Dance."

In this documentary-style video, Jones recalls what it was like to make the “buzzer beater” shot that allowed the Highlanders to advance and how it felt to compete at such a high level.

The experience was an incredible opportunity for Jones, and all of the players, coaching staff and the entire Radford family. It was an wonderful opportunity for our campus community to unite through a great sense of Highlander pride.
