The Family Nurse Practitioner program prepares registered nurses with graduate-level academic knowledge and clinical skills to practice in the roles of clinicians, educators, and leaders. Family nurse practitioners diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, partnering with patients to maintain health and wellness, with a focus on preventative care.

- The NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program is a unique program geared toward nurses who work in underserved communities at critical shortage facilities. Registered nurses who work at least 32 hours/week at a qualified facility can have 60% of their student loans paid in 2 years of employment.

The graduates are eligible for national certification exams through 1 of 2 certifying bodies-the American Nurses Credentialing Center (AACN) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
