Theatre students, faculty shine during ‘Leaves of the Tree’ opening

During the recent gallery opening festivities for “Leaves of the Tree” and “More Leaves of the Tree,” faculty and students from the Department of Theatre and Cinema performed a series of monologues and sonnets at the locations of various trees across campus. Stations were placed along a path created to provide gallery patrons a tour of significant campus trees between the Covington Center and Tyler Avenue art galleries. Theatre students participating in the multi-day opening festivities included Shaly Farmer, Sydney Pepper, Noah Polley, and Wes Wallace. Professor Wesley Young coordinated the student performances.
