The 2019 Radford City Fine Arts Show recently announced its call for entries to all Southwest Virginia artists. Each year the College of Visual and Performing Arts partners with the City of Radford to showcase outstanding artists within the region. All entries undergo a blind jury process to determine artwork to be featured in the exhibit. Cash prizes are awarded to selected artists, with a top prize of $500 for best in show.

Submissions are open through Monday, April 22, 2019, and notifications for selected artists will be sent out on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

This year the show’s juror will be Dr. Patrick Shaw Cable, who serves as the Deputy Director of Exhibitions and Education at the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia.
