Confirm Your Enrollment

Confirm your enrollment by completing the Enrollment Confirmation Form and paying a $200 deposit in your Highlander Portal (check out this step-by-step video on how to complete your Enrollment Confirmation Form).

The deadline to deposit as a freshman student is May 1. The deadline to deposit as a transfer student is June 1. 

If you are experiencing financial hardship, you may request a deposit waiver. Please email Anthony Graham, Director of Admissions, at argraham1@radford.edu to see if you qualify based on information on your FAFSA. 

After confirming your enrollment, use the checklist in your Highlander Portal to keep track of materials needed for your enrollment and don't hesitate to reach out directly to your admissions counselor. with any questions,

Applying for Financial Aid

Available December 2023, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is how we determine need-based financial assistance. There's some changes coming to the FAFSA. You can check out a preview of what's to come on our Financial Aid website.

Complete your FAFSA at studentaid.gov and list Radford University using code 003732.

Once your FAFSA has been reviewed, you can view your financial aid package in your Highlander Portal. Your package details grants, loans and work study awards based on information submitted on the FAFSA.

AFTER YOU'VE CONFIRMED YOUR ENROLLMENT

1. Activate OneCampus

OneCampus is the Radford University student portal and many actions are housed here (like registering for classes, applying for housing and paying your University bill).

You can activate your OneCampus account (check out detailed instructions here) using your RU ID and claim code, both of which can be found in your Highlander Portal

2. Complete Your Housing Application

Submit your housing application in OneCampus (you can find full instructions here). Incoming freshmen on main campus are required to live on-campus unless approved for exemption. Transfer students and RUC students are not required to live on campus but may apply for on-campus housing.

3. Register for Quest

Register for Quest orientation in your Highlander Portal enrollment checklist. Quest will be held over the summer and registration for Quest will open January 15.

Prepare for Quest

Prepare for Quest by completing the following:

Submit Immunization History

Complete your Health Record Form then submit it through our online systemMedicat (full instructions and additional immunization information).

Send Final Transcript(s)

Confirm that Radford University will receive an official copy of your final high school transcript (freshmen) and/or college transcript (transfer students and dual enrolled students). Once reviewed, you can check your transfer credit in your Highlander Portal.

Criminal History Disclosure

Complete the brief Criminal History Disclosure form available in the Enrollment Checklist in your Highlander Portal

Plan for University Bill

Accept your financial aid in OneCampus and begin making plans to pay your student bill. Bills will be sent to fall students in early July. To prepare, learn about payment deadlines, how to set up an authorized payer, and payment plans.

Monitor University Email

Keep an eye on your Radford email address (accessible in OneCampus) for information about move-in and start of semester activities. Your student bill will also be sent to your Radford email account.
