Attendance
Teaching and research faculty members: you will receive an email asking you to respond if you are planning to participate in the Graduate Hooding and Commencement Ceremony and/or the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony. 

Academic Regalia
Teaching and research faculty members participating in the commencement processional are required to wear academic regalia, either from their alma mater or Radford University.

Faculty can rent regalia through the Bookstore or purchase custom regalia.

Arriving at the Commencement Site

Graduate Hooding and Commencement Ceremony

• Friday, May 1, 5 p.m. at the Dedmon Center
• Please arrive no later than 1 hour prior to the ceremony.
• Faculty who are participating in the Hooding Ceremony as Hooders should gather on the practice court with the students. Faculty participating in the processional should gather in the Advising Center.

Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony

• Saturday, May 2, 10 a.m. at Moffett Lawn
• Please arrive no later than 1 hour prior to the ceremony.
• Faculty who are participating in the processional should gather by the Heth Plaza Red Clocks near Dalton Hall. 

Commencement Security Measures
The safety of our campus community remains our highest priority. All attendees for the Graduate Hooding Ceremony and the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony should be prepared to go through a security screening before entering the commencement venues. Severe Weather
Spring weather can be difficult to predict. We will monitor the forecast carefully and if severe weather appears likely to impact commencement, we will provide regular updates via email to our graduating students. Any changes to the commencement schedule will also be available on this website, on the university homepage and on the university's Facebook page.
