Feldspar

• Plagioclase feldspar and orthoclase feldspar are common in the Blue Ridge and Piedmont in Virginia.

• Excellent specimens of white albite moonstone, amazonite, and cleavelandite (platy plagioclase) have been found in pegmatites in Amelia County.
