Minor in Economics

Economics is the study of how people manage their scarce resources. The Minor in Economics explores contemporary economic issues using fundamental principles of Economics: optimal decision-making, market analysis and economic systems. Students get a ‘touch’ of Economics and show future employers they care about the way our economic world functions. This program involves 5-6 ECON courses.

This minor satisfies A (Cultural or Behavioral Analysis) in the REAL General Education Curriculum

Note: All students pursuing a BBA in Accounting, Finance, Management and Marketing must take ECON 105, ECON 106 and ECON 340. These students only need 2-3 additional courses to receive a minor in Economics!
