Detailed Description of Conduct of Course
All MOT courses utilize instructional strategies that rely on active learning and

Human Body, Development, and Behavior
- “Demonstrate knowledge of the structure and function of the human body that must include
the biological and physical sciences, neurosciences, kinesiology, and biomechanics.”
Interaction of Occupation and Activity
- Apply, analyze, and evaluate the interaction of occupation and activity, including
areas of occupation, performance skills, performance patterns, context, and client
factors.
Effects of Disease Processes
- Analyze occupational performance aspects that are affected by diagnoses including
heritable diseases, genetic conditions, mental illness, disability, trauma, and injury.

- Apply, analyze, and evaluate the interaction of occupation and activity, including
areas of occupation, performance skills, performance patterns, context, and client
factors.
