For beginners and those looking to build their skills, this course offers a hands-on approach to understanding the basics of the Python programming language. Topics include fundamentals of coding, mathematical libraries and functionality, inputs and outputs, and basics of data management.

System Input/Output (I/O)

  1. Read/write to and from the file system

Extending Python with Libraries

  1. Mathematical - Numpy, Pandas, Scipy
  2. Visual - Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly
  3. Data cleaning - tidyverse

Automation of Daily Tasks

  1. Pulling data with an API
  2. Data scraping

Data Cleaning

  1. Imputation
  2. Handling Nulls
