ARTG 382: Branding Design
                                 
                                 Prerequisites: ARTG 380 with a grade of “C” or better
                                 
                                 Credit Hours: (3)
                                 
                                 Visual problem solving for graphic designers encompassing illustration, photography
                                    and typography in a page layout for print media. Client relations, presentation and
                                    professional practice for graphic designers.
Note(s): Applied Learning designated course.  Students cannot receive credit for both
                                    ARTG 382 and ART 380.
                                 
                                 Detailed Description of Course
                                 
                                 Prepares the student to conceptualize, design, and develop logos and brand identity
                                    materials, and to present their work using best-practice presentation skills. Realistic
                                    assignments include: developing creative briefs, a variety of finished logo solutions,
                                    and persuasive design rationales for a range of different types of businesses. Students
                                    will also create brand identity presentation books as well as logo specification materials
                                    to support their designs.
