Sport Management

The Sport Management program prepares students for careers as potential leaders and administrators in the sports industry. Possible positions may be found in collegiate athletics, municipal parks and recreation departments, community sports programs, professional sports leagues, and commercial sports industries such as fitness and activity centers.

  • As a student, you can work directly with Radford University Athletics, the Student Health and Wellness Center, and the Esports Center in areas including fan experience, marketing, communications, fitness management, gaming, and facilities management.
  • The program offers a well-rounded curriculum that covers the sociocultural aspects of sports, as well as sport business and general business. The curriculum focus is heavily hands-on, experiential learning.
  • Our alumni network includes individuals working in professional sports, college sports, events and facilities, and community-based organizations.
