Matthias Naleppa holds an MSW from the Catholic School of Social Work in Munich Germany
and a PhD in Social Welfare from the State University of New York at Albany. He teaches
in the research and practice sequences of the BSW and MSW programs. Dr. Naleppa’s
practice experience is in international social work, working with older adults, and
case management. His past research has focused on short-term treatment, case management,
and geriatric social work. His current scholarship focuses on older adults retiring
in RV campers and photography in social work. Matthias Naleppa enjoys the outdoors
(hiking, biking, skiing), playing music, and travelling.
