Could there be a better job than Director of the FSC at Radford, surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains? I don’t think so! I am a helper at heart and love all things related to personal finance, so being able to spend my days helping others master their money is a dream come true.

When I'm not immersed in personal finance, you can usually find me hitting the local hiking trails, experimenting with creative, globally-inspired plant-based cooking, or hanging out at home with my two rescue dogs. My kids are grown and living far away now, which just gives me a great excuse to plan fun travels to see the world whenever I can!

Radford has been so welcoming to me since I arrived, and I am beyond excited to dive into teaching FINC 251. My guiding philosophy is that we change lives one conversation at a time, moving people from anxiety to agency.

My ultimate vision for the center is to create a future where every student, and eventually our faculty, staff, and wider community, has the knowledge, resources, and confidence to achieve financial well-being and thrive. I can't wait to see what we build together!
