In addition to teaching at Radford University, I am a practicing attorney.  I am licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a member of the Virginia State Bar.  I have also been admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the Western District of Virginia.  My law office is located in Blacksburg, Virginia.

I appear before courts throughout the 27th Judicial District of Virginia (Montgomery County, Pulaski County, Radford City, Floyd County, and Giles County).  My areas of practice include business formation, contract review, registered agent services, estate planning, local agency law and family law.  My goal is to give my students some practical knowledge of the law and how it impacts them both personally and professionally.

I am a native of Southwestern Virginia and grew up in Tazewell County.  I attended Virginia Tech, where I majored in Marketing Management with a minor in Psychology.  I obtained my Juris Doctorate from Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.  I currently live in Montgomery County with my husband and daughter.
